About Doodle Icons
Last updated October 26, 2026
Oreo Doodle Icons is a set of hand-drawn icons for websites, apps and slides. Every stroke draws itself in, then the line keeps a gentle wiggle, like an old cartoon. It is made by Oreo Design, a small design studio, and led by Nicole Tang, a visual designer.
Why it exists
Most icon sets are drawn with a ruler. That is right for a dashboard, and wrong for a birthday invite, a classroom worksheet or a product that wants to feel made by a person. We wanted icons that look like someone sat down and drew them, and that still behave like proper UI icons: one stroke weight, one grid, recolorable, and sharp at any size.
How the icons are made
- Each icon is a set of real vector strokes on a 48-unit grid, not a scanned sketch.
- The wiggle is an SVG filter that nudges the line between a few slightly different frames, so animated files need no JavaScript.
- Every icon keeps the same pen and the same stroke weight, so a heart from one theme sits next to an arrow from another.
What is free, what is Pro
203 icons are free under the MIT license, for personal and commercial work. Every free icon has its own page where you can change the color, stroke and wiggle, then download a still SVG, a transparent PNG or an animated SVG. React users can install @oreo-design/doodle-icons from npm. Doodle Icons Pro adds 1,708 more icons in the same hand for a one-time payment. See the terms for the license.
